In 2021, the Management Team branched D and M into the Solar Industry after an opportunity presented itself to supply, install and commission a Solar System for the University of Zululand in the form of Inverter, Battery and Solar Installation on High Mast Poles, with a camera surveillance system. Since the first installation, we have now expanded our footprint into supply of solar panels, batteries, investors, UPS systems and all auxillary components.

Through our professional project team D and M ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and within quality compliance requirements. Project progress is monitored and controlled through various project control tools and processes that have been tried and tested. Subject to the magnitude of the project, a written Project Execution Plan (PEP) is drafted prior to project start to ensure a road map is available to all key project stakeholders describing how the project goals and objectives will be achieved

The Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management team is responsible and accountable to the executive for the governance of the organisation. They report directly to the Managing Director if protocols, processes, standards and guidelines are not followed. Non-conformances are raised on defaulters and could result in disciplinary action depending on the severity of the deviation. Through implementing the key processes such as planning, assurance and control D and M is able to achieve predictable levels of excellence.

Our objective on all project zero harm

An experienced construction team is appointed to all projects to ensure daily progress is measured and tracked diligently. Our construction team oversees all specialized contractors, labour and all other personnel to ensure work is carried out efficiently as per schedule and delivery dates.
